The future of a 7-Eleven in St. Augustine has become more complicated.

Residents recently filed an appeal of a building permit issued to the developer by the city’s planning and building department.

Shortly after that appeal was filed, the Florida Department of Transportation issued final permits needed for the developer to move forward with construction of a 12-pump station at May Street and San Marco Avenue.
